I recently signed up with Healthspring medicare supplimental insurance.The first problem---- Before I signed up I talked to the representative in lenght about their prescription coverage, specifically MARINOL, a very expensive ($1300/30 day supply) drug, I asked him what my cost would be and was told $8 copay. I asked if it was covered the donut holeand was told yes. I asked him this no less than 6 times to the point of him getting annoyed, but wanted to be crystal clear that this drug was covered. I was covinced that this would be the best plan knowing that it would cover well over $15,000 cost of just that 1 medication, not including the other 10 medications I take. After I got my first prescription filled (with the $8 ccopay) I was sent a letter saying that I needed a letter from my DR on the reason why I needed this drug. He gladly sent a letter explaining that all other medications did not work and the marinol was the unly drug with successful results. I hadnt heard from them , so I called them. The person told me that that drug would only be covered for peopele with HIV or taking chemotherapy, something that should have been told when I inquired more than 6 times if was covered, something that would have taken 3 seconds to d... The company always raise my policy never work with me to try and give me a better rate, they only want to sell you something and try to say it will save you money by purchasing something else, never have a correct explanation for anything you call to get information you speak to different rep and they all have a different story no one is ever on the same page nor have the same information.... My name is Tim Cushey, I live at 2224 Adams Street in Natrona Heights, Pa. 15065. I'm having a problem with two Insurance Companies. My girlfriend with whom I live with, had a rental property at 2231 Adams St.(same city- right across the street). My girlfriend's rental insurer is Erie. She rented the property to Scott Foreman and his mother- Ruth Day(she has seen passed). Scott's boyfriend helped him move in and Never Left ( his name is Michael Salerno).We make Scott get renter's insurance because the property had a swimming pool and Scott's insurer was Travelers Home and Marine Insurance. My girlfriend was in the process of evicting them for 9Months of nonpayment of rent. On 4 Jan.2012 I was assaulted by Mike, I knocked on the kitchen door and when Mike opened the door, he struck me on the bridge of the nose with a 24 inch long bat then twice on top of my head and once across my left wrist, before I got the upper hand and restranded him (he was un injured). Mike was found guilty of simple assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Resisting Arrest (he fought with police).I tell you this because mike is bipolar and Doesn't take his medicine. I have Degenerate Disk Disease and Went to my Doctor ,he said I needed Surgery.So we put in for the Surgery. They would only allow for HimTo do the Fussion .He wanted to do some bone Graphing they denied that. They would give me a three day stay in hospital. So my doctor and I wrote appeals .He wrote one in Beginning of Septemmber but went to wrong Fax Number So we resubmitted in the end of December. I summit end in The beginning of January. Finally have calling the about 5 Times We Finally Got an answer. They would cover surgery but not the Hospital stay. They want be to do an In out Patient after having Surgery on my Spine.Is that the most Rediculas thing I have Ever Heard.They are always calling us about our Health tot Make sure our sugar is good but Yet Ther Going to Have Me walk Out of The Hospital after Having Surgery On my Spine.I am so fed up with Cigna.among other People.I am Ashamed to even say I,m apart of Cigna Insurance. when talking to employees on the phone I get conflicting answers. when being transferred almost always disconnected. since we changed to Humana HMO it is worse, do we have any chance of changing our insurance plan ? many of providers do not want our insurance do not want our business, our clinic does not help us too much either. i sold my vehicle in Oct. 2012 on the 10th ... Every 3rd automatically the company would take out,,, When I walked 2 blks away. I informed the manager at Best Buy I sold my car. and he proceded to cancel. well he never gave me a copy. of cancellation however. He left it active. and 43.00 is not alot of money. but I feel they should reimburse me all of it ... instead I delt w/ another manager. he then fixed problem. then I called corporate Mendota Insurance. They had me fax dmv bill of sale & so on.... i did... i waited ... then after all of that, They have the NERVES TO PAY ME. 9.00 AND CHANGE ... OMG WHY DO I HAVE TO EAT IT .... Hello, My Insurance Co. wouldnt reinstate my policy after seven years.On October 12th i was hit by a woman and she was ticketed.My car was totaled and i was hurt a bit.I wasnt able to purchase a car till Feb.In Nov. I called Allstate to explain the situation.Allstate was told I didnt have a car and that I wouldnt need Insurance till I bought one.At that time Allstate never mentionted anything to me about the Fla. States policys.Now its Feb.and Ive bought a Car and I called Allstate back.When I called them back they told me they couldnt give me a Policy.In Nov. i never was told anything about that this would happen.Anyhow in order to get insurance i had to go with another company and pay nearly double.I used to pay 148.00 monthly and now its 277.00 for less coverage.I feel like i really was burned.The Lady was charged with the ticket,my car was totaled and it wasnt my fault for any of this.How can i do anything about this?... From the sounds of it you may have received bad advice from your agent. They should have advised you to keep your policy in force until you purchased a new vehicle. It would have cost you money while you didn't have a car, but you wouldn't have had these problems. I would keep shopping around now that you have coverage. You may find a better rate out there.

I have been insured by United Health Care for about 2 years now and have always gotten my meds with a $15.00 copay. Recently I tried to get 2 of my medications and the pharmacy stated that my insurance no longer covers it. It is very frustratindg as these insurancne companies increase the premiums and decrease benefits. What are people supposed to do that need certain medications and cant afford them so the insurance companies can get rich. The insurance company gave me no explanation as to why they they are no longer covering it and there is no alternatives that are comparable to the existing medications. What shall I do? Look for another insurance company. Even if the doctor requests this medicatiion they still wont cover it.... Read More

After several years of being a customer. My wife came into the office to pay monthly auto insurance premimum. At this time no one at this office or any other disclosed that additional premimums are due at this time. The following month at this time discovered we were droped from coverage due to the non payment of the additional premimums. Which if we were informed at the time that the payment was needed would have been a little more profesonial. As a salesman my customers are my livelyhood and are treated as such . At this time i am requesting a new agent. Or new provider. In my field attention to all your customers is the Agent,s responsibility and this was not the first time .... Read More
